Our story
Two friends, one passion

This project arose from a long-standing friendship, which despite the distance always remained intact.
Both of us share the same name, María Eugenia, but we do not share a place of residence, with one of us being from the city of Paraná and the other from Córdoba.
From our childhood, we learned the art of knitting from our beloved grandmothers, which today we treasure with warm memories and tips stored like "recipes" in our memory and in our craft.
"De Mi Aldea" was born in 2020, when the pandemic found us with more time at home and knitting became a central and therapeutic task for us.
For Eugenia from Paraná, trips to Aldea Brasilera, a town located on the banks of the Paraná river and characterised by the beautiful green landscape of Entre Ríos, transported her to her world of inspiration, which today is reflected in the designs that can be seen in our knits. In honour of this place, our venture is named De Mi Aldea.
Each hand-knitted garment carries the weave of our hands, attempting to reflect in them the timelessness of their designs combined with the quality and warmth of natural yarns.
We are driven by the passion for what we do, guided by the immeasurable value of hand-knitted craftsmanship, which is a legacy from our ancestors and which we enrich in every garment knitted with care and dedication.
